Contents Page Analysis (2)

This contents page is also from an issue of Clash but this one is featuring the Foo Fighters. The first thing you see on this contents page is the picture of Dave Grohl. The picture relates to the 'Cover Feature'. It acts as a contents reminder to show the most important article in this issue. This sets the  theme for the rest of the page which is a blue, calming theme. The shot is almost a whole body shot that fades out towards the bottom of the page. The main contents is broken up into 4 separate sections- Features, Ones to Watch, Regulars and Fashion. This means that the topics aren't in total  chronological order only in the 4 sections they are broken into. The majority of these sections are vertical with fashion being horizontal. This round the 4 sections into a square/rectangle shape. This is useful to keep the formality and structure of the page. There are three pictures which are flush left to the side of the page. The pictures have numbers on them which can suggest that if you go to that page, you will find an article related to that picture. The font of the contents page is the same throughout the page but the size of the font does vary. The smaller font does inform the reader of what the feature of that page may include. The contents of the page and the headings are split by a thin line which helps keep the structure of the page.
