Double Page Spread (3)

The article is from an issue of Vibe and is about Lady Gaga.
On the left page there is a black and white stylised photo of Lady Gaga herself. This is a very retro photo which is almost sepia. The lighting used creates a lot of shadowing on the shoulders and some on the face. The makeup used also creates shadowing around the eye area meaning the rest of the face is purposely washed out.
On the right page you can see the article which is dominated with a large with a large red L, which is likely to mean Lady Gaga. This shows that the article is all about her and her image. The red could connote romance, danger or lust. There are only tow colours used here, the red which I previously mentioned and just a regular black font colour. The font is also very formal and classy. This might be to show that Lady Gaga herself is classy and formal.
At the top of the page you can see 'lady GAGA'. The emphasis on the 'GAGA' could show that the sanity of the article is debatable. The first letters of each paragraph are again overly capitalised like other music magazines. The article is split into three columns and continues on to another two pages. This is a very basic article that you could find in any magazine like Vibe, Clash or Wonderland.
