Double Page Spread Analysis (2)

This double page spread is very simple with complex elements added to the article to make it more interesting. On the left hand page there is a black and white photo of Llana Del Rey. This is a side on Mid Shot with Llana looking directly into the camera and winking. This goes with the headline of 'Mission Accomplished'. On the topic of the headline, it uses two different fonts, one more formal and the other more elaborate font. The 'Mission' font gives a more serious theme to the article with it being defined and capitalised. The other more elaborate font is used to make the article less serious and more feminine and musically orientated. This is also represented with the colours used for each other words with 'Mission' being in a formal, neutral blue and 'Accomplished' being is a bright, joyful orange to match the font and meaning being the word.

The subheading of the article also follows the differential font and colour. The elaborate font is continued throughout the article to try and show the strong, different personality of the interviewee.

The larger capitalised letters at the start of the article and paragraph are also in the elaborate orange colour. The theme of these colours are effective to show contrast.

The 'Factoid' style rectangle filled with statistics makes this article different to normal articles found in a music magazine. These statistics are normally found in a Gaming magazine but is a welcome addition in this article as it adds to more information to the article.
